2024 Gift of Love Campaign

The Gift of Love Project provides gifts to children in need living in the Housing Authority of Baltimore City’s public housing and Housing Choice Voucher communities. 

Each family is selected by a team of staff based on each individual families need. Sponsors select families to provide gifts to the children for the holiday season. HABC staff, friends and community partners contribute and participate in the yearly event. The Gift of Love project first launched 20 years ago in 2003.

The Gift of Love Project embodies the spirit of HABC’s Four Cs:  Communication, Customer Service, Collaboration and Community

This program brings joy to the people we serve in our community. 

Here’s how the Gift of Love campaign works:

• Children between the ages of 0–12 are identified.

• Ornaments representing the names of children from each deserving family will be placed on the digital Christmas Tree on rsinc.org/gift.

• Employees and friends sponsor a child/children and then purchase gift(s).

• Employees within departments can also join efforts by sponsoring an entire household.
